Atlanta Humane Society Walk for the Animals

Young Lawyers have supported the Atlanta Humane Society's Walk for the Animals f/k/a the Pet Parade since 2013.  In 2013 a Georgia lawyer led the "In Defense of Shoe Chewing" team in support of Carla, a jack russel/cocker spaniel rescue who attended law school with her owner but received no degree. In 2015, a group of young lawyers joined forces again to support Piedmont Park's Splish Splash Doggie Bash and at the Atlanta Humane Society's Walk for the Animals "Friends of Floyd" team. The Friends of Floyd Team is back to walk on Sunday, October 15, 2017!

Floyd is a lovable and lively hound/ pit bull rescue from the Humane Society.  He enjoys long walks in the neighborhood, visiting the Oakhurst Dog Park, and demolishing chew toys.  I hope you will join our Walk for the Animals team in helping Atlanta Humane Society in its mission to save the lives of homeless animals, and care for them until they find their forever loving families and homes.

AHS will adopt out more than 8,000 dogs and cats this year, and spay or neuter more than 12,000 animals, reducing our animal overpopulation and the inhumane conditions that brings to the area.

You can help in two ways:

Join our lawyers and law students team and participate in the Walk for the Animals on October 15th at Atlantic Station.

Help us reach our goal of raising $1,000 for AHS by making a donation below.

On behalf of the animals we can save together, thank you team!
